İngilizce açıklama:

 

1. “Has/Have been to”

 

Meaning / Anlam:

We use “been to” to say that someone visited a place and came back.

So, the person is not there now.

 

Structure / Cümle yapısı:

have / has + been + to + place

 

Examples / Örnekler:

• I have been to Paris.
  (I visited Paris before, and now I am here.)
• She has been to the doctor.
  (She went and returned.)
• They have been to Italy three times.
•  

When to use / Ne zaman kullanılır:

• To talk about life experience
• To say someone visited somewhere in the past and returned

 

2. “Has/Have gone to”

Meaning / Anlam:

We use “gone to” to say that someone went to a place and is still there (or is on the way).

So, the person is not here now.

 

Structure / Cümle yapısı:

have / has + gone + to + place

 

Examples / Örnekler:

• He has gone to the market.
  (He is there now or on the way.)
• My parents have gone to Ankara.
  (They are in Ankara now.)
• She has gone to school.
•  

When to use / Ne zaman kullanılır:

• To show that someone left and has not returned yet

Where is Ali?

Ali is not at home today. His mother is worried.
She calls his friend Mehmet and asks, “Where is Ali?”

Mehmet says, “Ali has gone to the library. He is studying there now.”

Yesterday, Ali was at the library too. He borrowed a history book and returned home in the evening.

Last week, Ali and Mehmet went Istanbul. They visited many places and took photos.

Now Ali is busy. He has gone to the library again because he has an exam tomorrow.

His mother feels happy because she knows Ali is studying hard.
